As the COVID situation continues to evolve, Microsoft Leap is following Microsoft company guidance to make decisions about events and in-person learning. All cohorts in the United States will be virtual until further notice. Cohorts outside of the United States will be virtual or in-person based on local state and country guidance.

Each pathway features an immersive, week cohort that includes classroom time as well as real-world experience through development and project management cohorts. The Azure Specialist role is to win both the technical and commercial decision so that customers build and deploy their solutions on the Azure platform. Azure Specialists develop relationships with customers, find and qualify new Azure opportunities, win the technical decision and ensure a compelling commercial structure for the customer.
Business Program Managers BPM work across the business to align major components of many projects simultaneously by organizing people and processes, and analyzing data to drive business decisions. As part of the business function of different organizations within Microsoft, BPMs help strategize and orchestrate delivery and improvements of various programs and processes that impact business results.
Cloud Solution Architects are a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft. Customer engineers are deep technical advisors supporting Enterprise customers to deliver unique value by removing blockers to consumption within their given Solution Area.
Cybersecurity Engineers are detail oriented and responsible for protecting Microsoft systems against persistent threats. They perform many functions including developing and implementing secure network solutions, completing assessments and penetration testing, managing audits and security technology systems, and architecting secure systems. A Data Analyst is someone who draws meaningful information from data and data sources using data analysis tools.
These results, which are pulled from the raw data, helps their employers or clients make relevant decisions to their businesses by identifying various insights, facts and trends. Product Managers PMs drive development and build consensus throughout the entire product lifecycle. PMs typically apply their background in technology and business domains to define features and achieve product vision from product definition and planning through development, release, and end of life.
Senior Software Engineers are technical leaders and problem solvers who design, implement, test, rollout, and manage software services. They turn business requirements into simple, elegant, and optimal solutions at large scale, understand long-term visions, evangelize best practices across the team, participate and lead team discussions about architectural design, and ship code to millions of users around the world.
Software Engineers SWE work as part of a development team to implement solutions on impactful projects. Technical Program Managers TPMs drive the development and implementation process of programs, products, and services. TPMs typically apply their background in software engineering and technology to provide cross-functional leadership to build alignment for efforts such as product architecture and solutions to complex technical needs. Technical Support Engineers work across Microsoft cloud technologies, from Azure services to Office , to help customers solve cloud services issues they may face.
User Experience UX Designers work as a part of a team with experienced designers to develop software and hardware products that are simple and intuitive. This requires learning a combination of research, prototyping, testing, and cross-discipline collaboration.
